Spiritual Care

At Trinity Health, we believe your spiritual well-being contributes to your physical health. We recognize the spiritual connection between mind and body.

The traditions and customs of people from all religions are respected at our hospitals, where a staff of chaplains promote holistic healing through spiritual services. Our Spiritual Care team includes professionally prepared chaplains, chaplain interns and volunteers.

Being a patient or supporting a loved one while he or she is in the hospital can be difficult. During this time, it may help you to take a few moments for yourself. All patients and visitors are invited to visit our chapels for private prayer.

Mass Schedules

Chelsea Hospital

The Chelsea Hospital chapel is located on the first floor near the courtyard area. To reach the hospital chaplain, please call 734-593-6259.

• Catholic Communion Service: Thursday at 12:00 p.m.

Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital

A chaplain is available to you and may be requested at any time by calling one of the Spiritual Care offices:

• Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital: 734-712-3800

At Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital, the chapel is located on the first floor of the main hospital.

Mass Schedule: Mondays and Thursdays at Noon. Each Mass is telecast on Channel 40. Call the Spiritual Care office at 734-712-3800 regarding Holy Days and Days of Obligation.

Trinity Health Livonia Hospital

The Trinity Health Livonia chapel, located on the first floor of the main hospital, is open 24 hours a day for your family's personal meditation.

• Daily Mass Schedule:  Every day of the week at 6:15 a.m.

Trinity Health Livingston Hospital

The Trinity Health Livingston chapel is located on the first floor of the hospital, near the main entrance. To reach the hospital chaplain, please call 517-545-6368.

Trinity Health Oakland Hospital

The Trinity Health Oakland chapel is located on the first floor near the lobby. It is open 24 hours a day for reflection. For a Mass schedule, or for other religious needs, please call the Pastoral Care Department at 248-858-3710.

Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital - Our Lady of Mercy Chapel

Located on the second level of the Trinity Health Lacks Cancer Center, our chapel is open daily from 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Please call the Pastoral Care Department at 616-685-6338 to speak with a chaplain.

• Mass Schedule: Monday–Friday: Begins at 12:05 p.m.

Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital - Divine Mercy Chapel

Located on the first level of the Mercy Health Medical Center, our chapel is open 24 hours a day. Please call the Pastoral Care Department at 231-672-3912 to speak with a chaplain.

• Roman Catholic Mass Schedule:  Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 12:00 - 2:30 p.m.

Trinity Health Medical Center - Hackley Chapel – Muskegon

Located on the first level of the hospital on the Trinity Health Medical Center Hackley Campus, our chapel is open 24 hours a day.
