There are a variety of Volunteer opportunities available within the hospital. The placement of volunteers in all departments is dependent upon service area needs. These service areas include the following:

• Endoscopy
• Emergency Center
• Infant Hearing Screening
• Information Desk
• Nursing Units
• Surgical Waiting Area
• Pre/Post-Surgical Area
• Musicians
• PAL Program (visiting those that are 70 and older)
• Comfort Companion (No One Dies Alone) Program
• Patient Family Advisory Counsel

How to Become a Volunteer

You have taken the first step by requesting this information. Please fill out the online paperwork include in this webpage. Return all paperwork to Barbara.stephen@trinity-health.org or you can mail to Trinity Health Livonia 36475 Five Mile Rd., Livonia 48154

Further requirements include:

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Furnish two references (one character reference, and one employment reference, if applicable). Click here for the reference letter form
• Meet health requirements: COVID and flu vaccine and TB Test
• Participate in the orientation of the assigned area
• Be flexible to service area needs and times
