St. Joseph Mercy Saline
400 W. Russell Street
Saline, Michigan 48176
The new Urgent Care at St. Joseph Mercy Saline opens to the public on April 15, 2014, offering walk-in medical care for the community. The hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.
The center provides non-emergency services such as sprains, dog bites, wounds requiring stitches, rashes and illnesses such as cold and flu.
Benefits of an Urgent Care visit include high quality care, convenience and value - often resulting in lower copayments than an emergency visit. It is part of St. Joe's outpatient care network that includes two Emergency Departments and three Urgent Cares in Washtenaw County.
The Urgent Care replaces the Emergency Department at St. Joseph Mercy Saline. It is staffed with the same doctors of Emergency Physicians Medical Group (EPMG), as well as the same nurses and staff from St. Joe's.
Outpatient Services at St. Joseph Mercy Saline
In addition to general diagnostics and X-rays, St. Joseph Mercy Saline provides phlebotomy lab draws onsite Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m., and Saturday from 7 a.m. - noon, as well as vascular services.
The Community Health Center
The Community Health Pavilion is a vital resource for education, nutrition and preventive health services. Because health reform places more focus on wellness and preventive care and lower-cost outpatient care, health programming provides the information people need to stay well and healthy. Working in partnership with Saline Recreation and Education, the community health center onsite will continue providing classes for drug prevention, nutrition and exercise classes. See the full Classes and Events schedule.
