Vineyards of the World Photo: As individuals in need of comprehensive medical care continue to flock to programs that can support their needs, the eleventh annual Vineyards of the World wine tasting event was even more important in support of the Peoples' Clinic for Better Health. More than 300 local residents and guests from across southeast Michigan came together to highlight the work of the clinic, which provides free medical care to those in our community who are uninsured and lack the resources to pay for their care. From left to right: Susan Christensen, Vineyards of the World Co-Chair, Great Lakes Caring; Rob Gunn, St. Joseph Mercy Vice President of Human Resources; Rebekah Smith, RN, St. Joseph Mercy President & CEO; Robert Camara, DO, St. Joseph Mercy Chief Medical Officer; and Gary Armstrong, Vineyards of the World Co-Chair, Wright & Filippis share a moment together during the event. Peoples' Clinic is the centerpiece of St. Joseph Mercy's mission to provide care to the poor and underserved.
