Breast Cancer Support Group for the Newly Diagnosed Scheduled for July
ST. JOSEPH MERCY PORT HURON OFFERS BREAST CANCER SUPPORT GROUP FOR THE NEWLY DIAGNOSED
Port Huron, MI...Due to the differing need of women in varying stages of breast cancer treatment and survivorship, St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron and its Mercy Regional Cancer Center are proud to offer a new support group. Breast Cancer Support Group for the Newly Diagnosed focuses on the unique needs of women who are newly diagnosed or have been through treatment within the past three years.
The next meeting will be held Wednesday, July 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the First Floor Conference Room at St. Joseph Mercy, 2601 Electric Avenue, Port Huron. Steve Fair, Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) and Director of Renewal Christian Counseling Center, will present on breast cancer diagnosis coping mechanisms.
