Healthy Aging Series Highlights Sleep Problems 04/20/2011 ST. JOSEPH MERCY INVITES LOCAL SENIORS TO BETTER UNDERSTAND THEIR SLEEP HABITS AND FIND NEW WAYS
TO IMPROVE THEIR SLEEP
Port Huron, MI…St. Joseph Mercy is pleased to announce it will host a Healthy Aging seminar designed specifically with seniors in mind. The May program will feature Brenda Meisler, RPSGT, Director of the Mercy Sleep Disorders Center who will present, “How to Get a Better Night’s Sleep,” an engaging program for area seniors, age 55 and older, to help them understand their sleep habits, and to learn new ways to meet their need for sleep.
The Healthy Aging series is one of the many programs St. Joseph Mercy has developed to enhance its provision of services to better reflect the unique requirements of our aging population. “How to Get a Better Night’s Sleep” will be held on Wednesday, May 18, beginning at 2 p.m., in the Baggot Street Café (Cafeteria), St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, located at 2601 Electric Avenue, Port Huron. These free programs include refreshments and educational sessions.
