Active Release Technique®
A massage technique based on the soft tissue system and movement of the body. Used to treat problems with muscles, nerves, tendons, ligaments and fascia. Treatment helpful for repetitive use injuries that cause pain or discomfort. Commonly used by Ironman® athletes. (Offered only in Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti location)
A soothing massage therapy utilizing waterheated basalt stones placed at specific points on the body to promote relaxation. Muscles are pretreated with the heated stones, allowing the therapist to more easily perform deep tissue manipulations.

Muscle Release Technique (MRT)
A unique therapy that combines stretching and compression to assist in the pain relief of repetitive use injuries.
Myofascial Therapy (MYO)
Uses very mild pressure and gentle forms of stretching and traction to help release tension and relieve pain.
Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT)

- Decreases perception of pain and anxiety
- Decreases muscle soreness by increasing local circulation and oxygen to contracted muscle tissues, thus allowing the muscle fibers to relax.
- Increases sense of well-being and improves sleep patterns
- Improves body image and body acceptance
- Stimulates the immune system through movement of lymph fluid
- Eases back pain and sciatica (especially during pregnancy)
