Jonathan Ayers, MD - A partner of IVF Michigan, Dr. Ayers has been the recipient of numerous grants dedicated to research in the field of infertility and reproductive endocrinology. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School and also completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan. Following that, he completed a fellowship in the university's Division of Reproductive Endocrinology. Dr. Ayers is a Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor, Michigan. In addition, Dr. Ayers has published over 35 journal articles, and over 30 scientific abstracts. He has contributed to two books, and a variety of audiovisual educational materials. Wesley Beemer, MD - Dr. Wesley Beemer grew up in southwestern Michigan and attended Kalamazoo College for his undergraduate degree. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan in 1983 where he completed his internship and residency training. Dr. Beemer joined Associates in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 1987. He is currently Director of Gynecology for St. Joseph Mercy Hospital and is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In his spare time, Dr. Beemer and his wife, Tammie enjoy outdoor sports including skiing, climbing and kayaking. Wesley Beemer, MD

John Delancey, MD - Dr. DeLancey received his Bachelor of Science in biology from Oberlin College in 1973 and received his Medical Degree from the University of Michigan in 1977. He completed his residency in 1981 at the University of Michigan in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Currently, he is a Norman F. Miller Professor for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan Medical Center. His research interests include: the anatomy of the pelvic floor, pelvic floor biomechanics, vaginal birth and pelvic floor injury. Dr. DeLancey is the Director of the Pelvic Floor Research Group, and principle investigator for PERL2, OPAL, EPI and SCOR projects and co-investigator on the PERL1+ project.

Dee Fenner, MD - Dr. Fenner received a medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1985 and completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan in 1989. She is a Harolf Furlong Professor, Director of the Division of Gynecology and Director of Surgical Services in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan. She is currently a board member for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology/Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and President of the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS). Her research interests include: anal incontinence and defecation disorders; depression and its impact on urge incontinence. Dr. Fenner is a co-investigator on PFRG's EPI and SCOR projects.

Anne Frantz, MD - Undergraduate degree in Microbiology at the University of Michigan, Medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. OB/GYN residency at William Beaumont Hospital and then 19 years as a faculty member in OB/GYN at the same institution and clerkship director for most of that time. Joined SJMHS September 2007 as the Student Clerkship Director and delighted with the new environment! Family consists of partner Eric, sons Aaron and Kevin . Outside interests include singing in choir, playing piano, personal fitness and travel. Anne Frantz, MD
Lisa Jeffries, MD - Dr. Lisa Jeffries graduated from Hillsdale College in 1994. She attended Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, and completed Obstetrics and Gynecology residency in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2002. She then practiced at a public health clinic in Boulder, Colorado from 2002-2004. There she provided care for a primarily Spanish speaking population as well as working closely with certified nurse midwives. She and her husband then relocated to Ann Arbor where they are both employed at St. Joe's. Dr. Jeffries now enjoys working with students and residents in the AOGP clinic. She enjoys spending her free time with her young son and husband. Lisa Jeffries, MD
Carolyn M. Johnston, MD - Dr. Johnston is a graduate of Yale School of Medicine who went on to do her residency at the University of Chicago Hospital. She then pursued a fellowship in Gynecological Oncology at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Johnston is Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan in addition to being a Cancer Center Member. Her clinical interests include pre-invasive disease of the lower genital tract, complex gynecology, gynecologic oncology, and cervical cancer. She is also a board member of the Michigan Cancer Consortium and chair of its cervical cancer committee. In addition to having an interest in research she shares her time teaching residents and medical students at the University of Michigan and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Carolyn M. Johnston, MD
Kristie Keeton, MD - Dr. Keeton is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a sub-specialty in Maternal Fetal Medicine.  She earned her medical degree at U of M in 1998.  She also completed her residency (2003) and her fellowship (2008) in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical Center.  In addition, she has a Master’s of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Keeton has spent time as both a lecturer in Ob/Gyn and an assistant professor of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Michigan. She has developed a special interest in preconception care, pregnancy in the setting of maternal illness, ultrasound, and fetal diagnosis. Dr. Keeton believes in providing comprehensive, personalized, and timely care to her patients. Kristie Keeton, MD
J. Rebecca Liu, MD - Dr. Liu is a graduate of the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Duke University and a gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of Michigan. Dr. Liu joined the faculty of the University of Michigan in 1999. She has won a national award for her research on chemotherapy resistance in ovarian cancer. Dr. Liu is an expert in complementary and alternative medicine. She is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists.
Brian Popp, MD - Dr. Bryan Popp attended Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at William Beaumont Hospital in 2003. He has been in private practice since 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital, Ann Arbor. He has participated in laparoscopic education and is daVinci Robotic trained. Dr. Popp has a passion for medical missions. He recently spent nine months in Kenya, Africa serving at Tenwek mission hospital. He enjoys time spent with his wife and children, as well as running, reading and cooking.
R. Kevin Reynolds, MD, FACS, FACOG - Dr. Reynolds is a graduate of Stanford University. He received his medical degree from the University of New Mexico and completed his residency at the University of Vermont. He served two years with the U.S. Public Health Service as chair of obstetrics and gynecology at the Shiprock Indian Service Hospital. Dr. Reynolds completed his gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of Michigan and joined the faculty in 1991. He is nationally recognized for his excellence in teaching and is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists. Dr. Reynolds' clinical areas of expertise include laparoscopic, robotic surgery and conventional surgery for cancer, in addition to chemotherapy clinical trials.
Joanne Vicari-Block, MD - Dr. Vicari-Block is a member of IHA West Arbor Obstetrics and Gynecology who has a clinical interest in minimally invasive surgery techniques, adolescent gynecological care, evaluation of infertility and teaching. She has been on the medical staff at SJMH for the past seven years. She received her MD from Wayne State University in 1998 and completed residency training at SJMH in 2002. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and currently works with the medical students from University of Toledo, Wayne State University, and the University of Michigan as the Co-Clerkship Director. Jennifer Williams, MD - Dr. Williams is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a sub-specialty in Maternal Fetal Medicine. She earned her medical degree at U of M. She also completed her residency and her fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Currently, she is pursuing a master’s degree in Health Services Administration at the U of M School of Public Health. Prior to joining the faculty at St. Joe’s, Dr. Williams spent one year on faculty at Denver Health Medical Center and two years at U of M, where she maintains an adjunct clinical faculty appointment. She is particularly interested in medical disorders in pregnancy, multiple gestation, and preconception/genetic counseling. She is committed to effective delivery of health care services and strives for a style that is accessible, amicable, and academic. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys. Jennifer Williams, MD
