The St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor Rehabilitation staff are highly trained and utilize an eclectic approach that incorporates manual therapy skills, exercise, posture and body mechanics instruction and recommendations as well as modalities for modulation of your symptoms after completing a thorough evaluation.
They work with you or your loved one to maximize your functional ability utilizing current and evidence based treatment techniques.
Our physical therapists will perform an examination to identify current and potential problems. Based on the results of the examination, and considering your specific goals, our physical therapists will design a plan of care to include specific interventions and will propose a timetable to achieve these goals and optimize your movement and function. Our physical therapist will likely provide you with instructions to perform exercises at home to facilitate your recovery.
You should feel comfortable asking our physical therapist any questions regarding your course of care, including specifics regarding interventions and expectations. Please contact us at one of our conveniently located facilities to schedule an appointment or to get any additional information regarding this service.
