Cranio-sacral Therapy is a gentle integrative therapy involving a light touch on the cranium, sacrum, and pelvic and thoracic diaphragms. This technique can be used for treatment of headaches, symptoms of neck and spine dysfunctions, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, tempero-mandibilar joint syndrome or dysfunction, and also after a head injury (traumatic brain injury) not in the acute phase. This treatment technique is used as an adjunct to other manual therapy techniques; such as myofascial stretching, and neuromuscular re- education to assist patients reach their goals.
