Philip J. Stella, MD
Dr. Stella is the Medical Director of the Oncology Program. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. Dr. Stella is the Principal Investigator of the Michigan Cancer Research Consortium; a NCI designated Community Clinical Oncology Program at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Prior to joining the medical staff at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in 1985, he completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Mayo Clinic.

Tareq Al Baghdadi, MD
Dr. Al Baghdadi is board certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible for Hematology and Medical Oncology. Dr. Al Baghdadi completed his residency in internal medicine at William Beaumont Hospital. He completed his fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from University of Damascus, Syria.

Kathleen Beekman, MD

Dr. Beekman completed her medical residency at University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers and her fellowship training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

Erik Carson, MD
Erik J. Carson, MD, is board-certified in hematology and medical oncology. Dr. Carson earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, and did his internal medicine residency at Stanford University Hospital and the University of Michigan Hospital. He went on to complete a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Michigan Hospital.

Andrew Eisenberg, MD
Dr. Eisenberg joined the medical staff in 1979. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, with subspecialty certification in Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Eisenberg previously served as a clinical instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed his residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.
