This free class is tailored specifically for women who are scheduled for gynecological surgery. It is important to be well prepared. Family members or friends are welcome to attend with you. The class is taught by a registered nurse and will include:
* Relationship of female anatomy and physiology to your surgery
* Schdule of events prior to, during, and after surgery
* Ways in which you can influence a smooth recovery, including measures to increase comfort and help prevent post-operative complications
* Issues concerning self-image and sexuality
